Nature Walk and Craft
Traveling in pairs with Mrs. Wrigley's class, our children set out to Harrison Field early this morning. Using our "Deer Ears" and "Owl Eyes" students listened and observed various elements of nature both on our walk and in Harrison Field. While walking the perimeter (and boundary) of Harrison Field, students collected six objects from nature - whether it be dried leaves, seeds, grass, or flower petals - to bring back to the classroom. After making observations in our 'science journal' students used these nature elements to create a sun catcher for their homes. I hope you found your child's sun catcher in their folders and have enjoyed these decorations for your home! INQUIRE with your child what they saw, heard, and who their buddy was from Mrs. Wrigley's class!
