Chester

Chester the raccoon has been the main character in each story we've read this past week by Audrey Penn. Throughout the stories, Chester showed cooperation, assertion, responsibility, empathy, and self-control as he learned how to share, deal with bullies, and transition to new stages of life.  Each child was able to connect with Chester in one way or another. On Friday, the children completed their study of Chester by creating raccoon puppets.  Use these puppets to engage your child in conversation about what they learned about Chester!
