Proud

We have a group of children in our classroom who have set out to work together to complete every puzzle on the shelf. I have never had a group of eager 'puzzle-doers' and am happy to see the cooperation shown between them as they use problem solving skills, empathy, and cooperation to put in every last piece.  They were so proud of their accomplishments today that they begged for a picture to be taken...if only I had video taped the planning of their poses prior to this shot. After learning about symmetry, they were determined to align themselves symmetrically in front of the puzzle (same poses on each side). By the time I found the camera, it had all fallen apart, but was definitely the highlight of my day :)
