Empathy

INQUIRE with your child what the "E" in C.A.R.E.S. stands for.  Students have been showing empathy towards their friends all week and learning about new ways to show they care about each other.  As we continue to build community, children are playing cooperative games, making mistakes, celebrating accomplishments, laughing, and learning altogether.  Our class is focusing on being respectful to one another by using a kind voice and talking through conflicts with an open mind.  In my observations each day (and from our guest teacher yesterday) our students are putting 110% effort into making each day successful.
