Screech hand delivered 4 certificates for our class today and stayed for a photo session. Students high fived, hugged, or waved and then gathered around for a group photo (I know..not the greatest view of everyone!) After each 100 hoots earned, classes around the school are presented a certificate in honor of their class' hard work. Students have been working on learning and practicing Cooperation, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self Control. At this point in the year, students have been introduced to what it looks like and sounds like to show each of these behaviors. INQUIRE with your child how they show C.A.R.E.S. throughout the day. Students are often reflective and can tell you their strengths and weaknesses. Enjoy having this conversation with your child!
