Last week, children learned a new game in Math over the course of two lessons. Which Bug Will Win?
was played as a new math workplace today. INQUIRE with your child to
share with you about a couple of things s/he knows about the game
materials, and how it is played. Use the recording sheet that came home today to use as a guide. Hint: it is a game of chance that
re-inforces greater than and less than equal number groupings as well as
probability. Later in the week, we will graph our winnings to compare and contrast
the number of times the Ladybug wins and the Spider wins and discuss our
thinking about why we came to the conclusion we did.
