Each day we tie counting exercises into our day, play games, and sing songs. Today, students rainbow wrote various numbers that they had to guess - if a block was covering 111, and you couldn't see it, how do you know it was 111. Many other games were played using a number chart, a cube and a box of crayons. Students use the colors of the rainbow to color in a variety of numbers after counting and recalling the number. Much fun is had to develop number sense fluency (fluency referring to recalling the numbers quickly and efficiently).
