I know my freckles are popping and that means I'm forgetting my sunscreen! Ooops! It may be a good idea to lather your child up in the morning before school as children are spending an increasing amount of time outside in the sun during the school day. Our class has been thoroughly enjoying the warm temps we've been having and spending many days during their choice time outside. Friendships continue to form and students continue to work on C.A.R.E.S. outside on the playground (an often difficult time for most). We've been discussing various ways we show C.A.R.E.S. on the playground and will begin to adapt what we know about playground rules as we begin to transition for lunch time recess to the upper playground (on Thursday)!
