As we continue to learn about ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle, and ways to take care of our home, we are looking closely at where we live, on planet Earth and ways that we can be Earth's friend. We've been having great conversations about where we live on Earth. Students are learning the differences between cities, states, countries, continents, and the world. Through maps, globes, and many read alouds, students are
beginning to understand the differences. Later in the week we will do some writing about where we live in Montpelier. INQUIRE with your child if they know their address? Their home telephone number? What other cities are in Vermont besides Montpelier?
