Volunteer Opportunities

Royce and Melanie have once again volunteered to be our 4 Winds Parents.  If you'd be interested in volunteering and helping them, please let me know. Four Winds is a supplemental science program at Union Elementary led by parent volunteers. Each month a naturalist from the Four Winds Nature Institute comes to UES and teaches a lesson to volunteers who, in turn, teach that lesson in the classrooms. For more information about the Four Winds Program, please visit www.fwni.org. If you're interested in helping them teach in our classroom, please contact me ASAP! This year's focus is on Patterns in Nature.  

Also, Jenny Sheehan, from the parents group has put out the following request for a parent classroom communicator for each class to help communicate with families info about Parent's Group.  Please read the following and let Jenny know if you'd like to help.  

This role would be to serve as the liaison with the Parents' Group, UES faculty & staff to occasionally share emails with other families in your child's class. For example, forwarding an email about a school event or a reminder that there is a Parents' Group meeting." Please let me know if you would be interested in this role and
