Thanks for those families who participated in the first home connection of the year and sent in pictures to help your child decorate their writing folders. Even if you didn't, all children participated and looked for pictures that reminded them of things they do, memories they have, and things that happened to them using a variety of magazines. Students shared with classmates adventures as they worked to decorate their folders. Students will use these ideas to spark memories for their own writing in our first writing unit involving small moment narratives.
