Our entire UES community meets once a month (sometimes more) for all school assemblies. The assembly happen first thing in the morning, and is organized as a morning meeting similar to our classroom morning meeting. We begin with a greeting, we share news and sing happy birthday to those who celebrated that month, read a school message, and participate in an activity. This month, we celebrated summer birthdays and Ms. Funk taught us a new song! We also reviewed school rules (CARES) and all earned a hoot for showing Cooperation,, Assertion, Responsibility, Empathy, and Self-Control. Many assemblies are run with the help of students!
