Despite the stormy inconsistent weather today, students prepared themselves for a rainy afternoon outdoors. It was the perfect day to learn how to take care of ourselves for the outdoors. Dressed head to toe in rain gear, we trekked up to Harrison Field with a buddy from Mrs. Bates' class. The afternoon was shortened, due to the downpour, but much fun was had playing a "Father Tree" game about the life cycle of the tree and hearing a story from Larry in the woods in between the rain. INQUIRE with your child what the oral story myth was all about!
