Due to the vast amount of illnesses that affected our classroom on Friday, we spent a little extra time celebrating a friends birthday. His family came in and shared delicious gluten and dairy free apple cinnamon cups, popcorn, and juice for us at snack time. They also donated us a book for the classroom, The Grouchy Ladybug and taught us a little about telling time. Because guest reader had been cancelled for the day (student was out sick), our birthday friend's family stayed and read us a few books.
