Update

The last few weeks of school are busy for both me and the students. We continue to learn about the life cycle of plants and our community.  We've planted sunflowers in the classroom and have been using the scientific process to observe a bean sprout in the window. Thrown in the mix are end of the year assessments, finishing up how-to writing, reflecting on the year, perfecting our numeral formation, cleaning the classroom and reminiscing of all the fun learning we have shared with one another.  We are immersed in reading Red Clover Nominees and are getting ready to vote on our favorites.  I apologize (again) for the lack of detailed blogs, but hope you enjoy the few pictures that I have time to post. Today, we enjoyed a visit from the Kellogg Hubbard Librarian and learned about all the fun summer events happening right down the road!  I hope you get out to visit the KHL this summer and take part in their reading program!  It is a great way for children to stay motivated to read!
