B-Boys

This afternoon UES was treated to a performance by The Outsiders, a b-boys dance group made up of three teens who teach classes, and train at the Contemporary Dance Studio right here in Montpelier.  The boys demonstrated, taught and engaged UES students in a few varieties of dance, including hip-hop, graffiti, break-dancing and dj'ing.  What fun we had clapping along and watching some UES current children join as they were invited on stage.  It was exciting for all!  Who knows, you may just learn a few new dance steps at home if you ask your Kindergartner to show you...although, I learned from a few students that their parents already are REALLY good at hip-hop dancing!
