We had our first adventure out in the woods on Monday with Amy Butler.  After reviewing the rules and expectations we hiked into Hubbard Park for a morning filled with insect games, insect hunting, and identification.  Despite the wet weather, the students thouroughly enjoyed themselves.  Upon returning, the children made observations and documented these and their "wonders" in their science journal.  INQUIRE with your child what they observed and or what kind of insect game they played.
