While listening to stories over the last few weeks, our children have been working on identifying the beginning, middle and ending parts to various stories.  In addition, they have been identifying the details authors use to make a story better.  After explaining what these authors include, students are trying to add more details as they write stories with beginning, middle, and endings.  We are working on telling more information about a small moment and expanding the details as we explain an experience we've had.
