Georgia O'Keeffe

We have just about finished learning about our last artist for the year.  Georgia O'Keeffe was an american artist who painted various objects in nature.  Of all her paintings, she was most famous for her magnified paintings of flowers. These paintings conveyed her love for nature.  We spent an extraordinary amount of time practicing Georgia's style.  Closing in and magnifying  a flower was a challenging task for our Kindergartners but I had no doubt they could master it.  You'll have to see their final product next Thursday at the KinderArt Show!  We look forward to celebrating our accomplishments and showing off our artistic skills to our family and friends!
