Happy Spring

To get ready for the first day of spring (although it seemed to arrive a bit early this year) and to get ready for an upcoming realistic fiction writing/illustration project students spent some time this week visualizing what spring is and exploring art in books. Students then learned about a variety of art techniques to use to create a crayon-resist watercolor painting. Be sure to check these out in our hallway. Here's a sneak peak at a few.
