We enjoyed an anti-bullying residency run by Susan Picking that was focused on learning through music. Throughout the week, students engaged in conversation about what to do when you're in a difficult situation with your peers. All first graders learned a song called, "Be Kind" to remind them about being kind, being nice, being help, and most importantly, believing in yourself!
